This week we learned

This week letter was the letter B. To make the letter one needs one big line and two little curves. Friends were excited to learn that some of our friends family members' names start with the letter B. Rachel's father's name is Boruch, her young brother's name is Bibi,  Ari's brother's name is Benjamin, and  Mordechai Yisroel's young sister's name is Bluma.

Pre-K friends continue to learn about money. This week, Pre-K friends learned how to recognize a dime and its value.  There is a little song that we sang in classroom about dime.

1 little, 2 little, 3 little pennies,

4 little, 5 little, 6 little pennies,

7 little 8 little, 9 little pennies,

10 pennies equal a dime.

When we looked closely on a dime we noticed a picture of President Roosevelt, on other side of the coin there are a torch as a sign of knowledge, an olive tree branch as a sign of peace,  and an oak tree branch as a sign of strengh.
