Learning about FALL

Some call it autumn, some call it fall. Some say this season is the best of all. On Monday, friends took a trip to the Prospect Park to look around for the fall signs. We saw red, yellow and brown leaves on the trees. We noticed how bright colored leaves were falling to the ground.
Friends looked all around to see fall signs. Friends noticed that weather is cooler and wind is strong.
They noticed that people wear jackets, boots and hats.

Friends looked around and noticed that some trees are full of leaves
but some trees are standing bare without any leaves.
These trees are asleep already, they stop growing until spring.

At the end of our trip, friends discovered group of birds that were resting by the lake- ducks and a swan that was sleeping. We were brave enough to come closer to them. Ducks don't leave the Prospect Park like some other birds who leave for warm countries flying far far away because it is cold for them here in Brooklyn and there is not enough food.
