This week we learned

 

 This week we learned the letter U. To make letter one needs to start from the top, big line goes down makes  "U-turn" and goes up. We learned that such words like umbrella, unroll, unlock, upset, underwear start with the letter U.

Pre-K friends started to learn about a new shape starting this week- RECTANGLE. We learned a rhyme that helps us to understand why a rectangle is a rectangle.

Ricky Rectangle is my name.

My four sides are not the same.

Two are short, two are long.

Count my sides, come along

We learned about number two, too:)

There are some facts that we discussed in the class.

We noticed that on a number line the number 2 stands between numbers 1 and 3.

Its place is after number 1 but before number 3.

We learned that number 2 is more than number 1, but less than number 3.
