Mailman Eliana brought us mail in her messenger bag. What was it? It was the letter Ches.
Ches has one big line on top, and two big lines coming down.
We knew someones name begins with the letter Ches and knew it wasnt anyone in our class. Who's name could it be? We tried guessing by playing process of elimination of all the Morahs in preschool until we got it. It was Morah Chani!!
The letter Ches has the same shape as a Chuppah- a canopy under which a marriage is performed. We had a pretend mock wedding under a Chuppah with a Chosson and Kallah, relatives, and guests followed by music and dancing. We all got to see first hand that a chuppah looks like a ches. It was really exciting.
