We learned the letter vov. It has one little line on the top, and one big line coming down.
The Hebrew word vered (rose) begins with vov. We saw how the vered even looks like a vov with the vered tilted to the side and its stem coming straight down. We had real vered roses in the classroom to see and feel how its form looks like a vov.
