Thanksgiving Wonder Time

This week Pre-K friends learned about Thanksgiving. Long long time ago some people- Piligrims decided to explore the world and they discovered a land that we call America. They arrived when the weather was cold. They had no food to eat. Native Americans living here gave them shelter, food and clothes. They taught the Pilgrims how to grow corn. Piligrims were so happy that they to thank their Native American friends.
Today, we celebrate Thanksgiving by giving thanks for the people and things that are important to us.
Pre-K friends thought about what is important for them and what are they thankful for. There is what they say,
I am thankful for all the seasons. (Mickey)
I am thankful for my friends. (Eliana)
I am thankful for having home. (Leon)
I am thankful for Menny. (Mordechai Yisroel)
I am thankful for Yom Tovs and Mordechai Yisroel. (Menny)
I am thankful for toys I can share with my friends. (Naomi and Ema)
I am thankful for my friends Liza and Naomi. (Rachel)
I am thankful for all the holidays and all the months of the year. (David S)
I am thankful for Morahs. (Ari)
I am thankful for whole world. (Jason)
I am thankful for my mommy. (Sophie)
